Melt.
Or, use half a pound
of rosin,
the same quantity of
red sealing wax, and
a half an ounce of
beeswax; melt, and as
it froths up, stir it
with a tallow candle.
Use new corks; trim (after
driving them in securely)
even with the bottle, and
dip the necks in this
cement.
